The neck and the contour of the face are two areas quite difficult to deal with relaxation and aging.Until recently, the only means available for these areas was the surgical scalpel, but with the advance of technology and the use of new better materials, we can now talk about non-invasive treatment of relaxation. With this technique we can have in the neck and contour areas a result that can be described as a mini lift.
The problems presented in the face contour are mainly two and are due to gravity such as the fall of the cheeks and on the other to the relaxation of the skin due to the poor support of the underlying muscles and bones. Now the number one cause of aging is the loss of skin care from the muscles and bones and not the relaxation itself.
During the first visit and once the problems have been identified and the application plan is designed, the first stage of the treatment is made consisting of the application of 2 ml of thin hyaluronic acid to the contour and along the mandible. We try to create an additional “skeleton” above and below the jaw to provide support and highlight the outline.
Ten days after and after the integration of the material into the face, we can proceed to the second phase consisting of the thread contouring. The number required will depend on the initial situation we have to deal with. The combination of these two techniques has results that can only be compared with surgical lifting.
The problems typically arise in the neck are three. The wrinkles (horizontal scratches and vertical “columns”), the loss of fat in the area resulting in the neck being empty and aged and finally the epidermal relaxation. This is a complex problem that can only be a composer and involves three stages. During the first visit and after identifying the problems and designing the application plan, the first stage of the treatment is made, which consists of the Botox application to eliminate both horizontal wrinkles and vertical columns. The final result is visible after 20 days and lasts longer than the Botox in the face can reach 10-12 months.
The second stage focuses on filling the neck with special hyaluronic acid, more delicate than the usual and suitable for this sensitive area. It restores the loss of fat which is the first cause of the aging of the throat. It is advisable to take 15 to 20 days after the Botox so that it is placed in the right places and the application does not work at all.
The third and final stage which is not always necessary but completes the treatment is the treatment of epidermal loosening. The number of threads that will be needed depends on the overall picture of the neck. It is done 10 days after the infusion of Hyaluronic acid and complements this treatment. On their own, yarns are usually not enough for full neck support, and therefore a complete cure like the one we have described is needed.
